Wow haven't watched this closely in a while and just saw Biden's "speech". He really struggles. Reminds of the original Star Trek episode where that old Starfleet guy was drugged and propped up as a figurehead for the Nazi party on some planet.
A vote for Biden isn't a really a vote for him as a person. Which presumably would really kill any kind of turnout if he's the nominee.

Not worried about the integrity of the result. But it does seem like a gong show at this point. What about that App that they are talking about that seems to be the main sticking point on the delays? Could that be potentially vulnerable?

The reporting to the central command was supposed to be app, the recording of the counts is all manual. There is a paper trail.

Don`t put foul play past trump. Very skeptical. As I said, not worried about the counts. Iowa is such a huge domino though, and this looks bad on the Democrats, and maybe derails a candidate Trump is most afraid of. Not calling anything, but this is very odd. Foul play or not. Ill assume not at this point.

Campaigns must know the results - they all have staff scrutinizing the counts and reporting back to their own campaigns to aggregate. That's just how it is.
Judging by the messaging and order of speeches, I'm gonna guess Buttigieg won. If so, gotta be a huge bummer for him and his campaign that the results were delayed. But it might give him a bigger news cycle tomorrow when the result does break.

What a crazy night. Iowa Caucus tonight, SOTU tomorrow, impeachment decision after, debates on Friday. Tin foil hat says DNC wants to lessen any momentum that Bernie would have gotten by making a victory speech on TV, so simply delay the results until the wee hours.
