I dunno where you were sitting, but there was nowhere near 3000 Vegas fans that night. During the anthem nobody chanted “night” like other arenas. I still have the recording on my DVR and can confirm that almost the entire lower bowl was red. The cameramen on the US broadcast was struggling to find people celebrating Vegas goals.

I'm cheering for Ovechkin, Chara and Taylor Hall. All acceptable Cup champions.
Boo everyone else. Especially Canadian teams and teams in our division. Not sure why so many people have a hard on for Vegas.

I'll do what I always do. Pick a team I like in the east, and a team from the central, and try to catch most of those games.
This year I'm going to go Boston and Nashville. Fingers crossed the Blues sneak in over a pacific team too

Kind of nice to see some Jets love. I won't play the "Canadian city" card, but, the team has been built on the opposite of tanking. Jets always played hard last 10-15 games of each season even when eliminated, and never tanked liked the Sabres or Oilers. This franchise has to be one of very few who literally haven't won a playoff game yet; although I consider the Jets 1.0 to be our true canon.
I'm already developing nerves for the 2nd week of April.

Quite frankly that's part of why I like the Jets. They've suffered. They've paid their dues. Including the Atlanta years (which some current Jets were a part of) they've never really had a good team.
The fact that they're a Canadian city is a negative for me. I hate when people cheer for the Canadian teams just because they're Canadian. It's dumb.

Times like these just make me fondly remember ‘04. A decade and a half of futility leading to a wild ride of euphoria.
When you suffer through the bad you just appreciate the good so much more.
Crazy to think it was 14 years ago now.
15 years between ‘89 and ‘04... well maybe it means ‘19 will be our year again.

I'll watch, but it won't be appointment TV. I'll be in a couple of pools, but I'll be watching baseball more than the NHL playoffs.
I have much more time to pay attention to early season baseball for my baseball pools.
I'll be here reading, but as always, I won't comment much on the status of the team as I don't feel like debating about my thoughts matters, the team will do what it does. I have grown indifferent. I'll the draft, hope they trade Brodie and recover picks or get a RW, but meh.
I'll be in the off topic talking about Star Wars or other TV shows/movies.

Bring on golf season. The Masters is always an awesome weekend of golf and it's shaping up to be very interesting this year. After that I'll probably focus on the Jays and the firing of GG

Why? Nashville has got to be the most likeable bandwagon team in the league. I want to see Subban win a cup, so I can laugh at Habs fans.

3000 may have been a stretch...it was loud as fack when they scored and there were plenty of Vegas jerseys in the front row FFS
There was no struggle to find Vegas fans unless Ray Charles was operating the camera. Anyway I will hate whatever team I want, Vegas can EAD...they were gifted a team 2 3rds of the league would trade their roster for.

Gonna watch the Jets win a lot of series hopefully... Also hoping the knights will at least knock off the Ducks and Kings if they get a chance
