you seriously have to ask yourself if BT and GG ever talk about any of BT's moves before he makes them.
They often seem on different pages.

I agree, GG will need a healthy Tkachuk next year. This year is lost, BT and GG have a plan for next year that involves Tkachuk.

I was kidding, I don't think BT has a plan. By this point in all his other GM careers EA has released a new NHL game and he starts a new career mode where he trades future draft picks for current players. That plan is not going to work for BT.
But I would shut Tkachuk down for the year, no need to risk a head injury on this tire fire, Flames will be more or less mathematically eliminated by the end of the 2 game trip he is missing, no other perennial non-playoff team would risk injury to one of their top young players when they are out of the running.

Shame Tkachuk may not be able to finish what's been a fantastic sophomore season. If it's a concussion really there's no point in playing him again this season even if he clears with some games left.

I hope all of these players are gone along with the coaching staff for next season. Wild cards are Versteeg and Stewart as I feel they may still be able to offer something but I still think we can upgrade on them as well. Andersson should also be a regular.
