Looks like Backes got a skate in the back of the leg. Didn't see blood, but the way he was going off the ice made it look like it was pretty serious.

David Backes suffered a laceration above his right knee requiring several stitches. He is resting and will not return to tonight's game, according to Bruins.

At this point there's no point getting bent out of shape on the sharks winning. They're 7 pts ahead with a game in hand. If Nucks lose good cause they're the Nucks. If they win Good too it's-2 Dahlin points. Win-win.
