Default Chick-Fil-A in YYC?

So Mrs. HockeyPuck was at YYC today dropping her brother off so that he could fly back to Vermont.

Anyways, she found out that they put in a Chick-Fil-A in at YYC on the departure level... We both thought it was weird that the first Chick-Fil-A in the city is at the airport. Kinda like the time when the HockeyPuck family found a Carl's Jr. in the Puerta Vallarta airport - of all places!

Does anybody know if any other Chick-Fil-A's are planned for in the city?

I know that the owner of Chick-Fil-A is a homophobe, so I won't be having anything to do with them.

I'd suck a dick if it meant I got a Chick-Fil-A sandwich.

Popeyes is amazing, but man, as homophobic as they are, the Chick-Fil-A sandwiches are ridiculous.

I'll smuggle you in.

I wasnt really sure what they served so I took a look at their menu online and their photos look more terrible than Tim Hortons advertising. I hope it tastes better than it looks. If it's anything like Popeyes, I'd give it a try.

Nope. Company mandated to be closed.

Quote:
Q: Why is Chick-fil-A closed on Sunday?

A: Our founder, Truett Cathy, made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. He has often shared that his decision was as much practical as spiritual. He believes that all franchised Chick-fil-A® Operators and Restaurant employees should have an opportunity to rest, spend time with family and friends, and worship if they choose to do so. That's why all Chick-fil-A Restaurants are closed on Sundays. It's part of our recipe for success.
Also appears that the company philosophy is a little contradictory.

Quote:
Q: What is the Corporate Purpose of Chick-fil-A, Inc.?

A: To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.

I'd still check it out, never tried it before.

I also eat Coco Brooks from time to time, and their Pizza boxes are more preachy than most humans.

Chick-fil-a is awesome.... great sandwiches, nuggets, and milkshakes. It's nothing like Popeyes though, which I also find delicious.

Popeye's spicy chicken makes KFC taste more like garbage than it already does.

We have Popeye's here. Tried it on a head to head with KFC last superbowl, and KFC ran away with it. Popeye's is poop.
