If it's an extended stint, could give Treliving the look he needs to determine if he can offer one of the d up in a trade.

I'd be very leery of that without knowing that someone could step in as say the #4, legit, not "hopefully", before you do a deal.

So this could work out rather then hoping he steps up come training camp.

Defense hasn't been the issue and the risk of trading a guy away is you break up that solid setup you had this year.

I assume they’ll be a -5 on the night, with a righty playing the left side like that.

May as well put the trainer in net, and Rittich in place of Gaudreau on the power play.

Practically eliminated, and the coach finally willing to try something new with the lines.

The concept of fail fast is below Mr. Gulutzan and his staff.....

Lol this is so annoying. Pretty much doesn't matter anymore, we finally get decent looking lines and finally see a dman on his off hand

Shut Brodie and Tkachuk down for the season, see what you've got in Rasmus and Shore and Bennett on the top line.

Gilles was an emergency recall for Smith's injury, so he doesn't count toward the four recall rule.

They burned one on a paper transaction to make Rittich eligible for the AHL playoffs. Andersson would be two. So we would have two left.

I think it's time that Tyler Wotherspoon got a call. He's a good stay at home defenceman and deserves a shot. Best +/- on the team. Not sure what this team has against him.

I'm not sure if he would have got the call up but he is currently injured. Hasn't played the last handful of Heat games.

He means rotate them through the Monny and Gaudreau pairing I'm sure.

Once the Flames are in fact out of it, I'm sure Monahan, Tkachuk, Brodie and whoever else is banged up will be shut down. Then evaluation time begins.

I'd give Foo a game or two down the stretch. His game picked up in the second half.

Didn't watch the game, only looked through the highlights. How did the kid play?

I thought he was really solid, looked a lot better than Brodie but that is not saying much at this point.

Has higher end defensive awareness IMO. Made about five or six really smart plays last night and most of them showed up on his highlight pack when the PbP guys talked about him.

He's ready for full time Duty. I'd run him for the final 9 games and get him familiar whith an NHL play schedule.
