I believe in the Jays.

I don’t know if Farsi is really ready for a higher level. He obviously played quite well, but he only tallied one goal and two assists. He gets in good positions, but the end product isn’t there yet.

"Farsi is hopeful of a move to Europe or Major League Soccer but Cavalry are keeping the door open on any further discussions happening this winter."
Oh ####, Farsi is going to sign for York!

Good luck to Yao and Farsi, two great players for us!
I’ll miss Selemani a bit, liked what he did in short glimpses. Unfortunately he was often hurt
Who knows, maybe Yao comes back on loan next year

Yao is a stud, he is going to be missed. He and Farsi were by far the best players on the pitch outside of Carducci.
I suppose both players moving up a league is a good thing for the CPL's mission, but those are two huge holes in the roster.

There's going to be holes every year because for as much as I love the CPL, it's a stepping stone to higher-tier leagues for young talent.
Good thing we have gaffer Tommy on the case.

Man, we were spoiled with Klomp and Yao on the backend. Yao turned into our best player by the end of the season. What an absolute rock back there; hopefully he sees massive success in his career with form like that.

I don't think that he is. I really like him on the Cavalry, but even at this level he's kind of frustrating because of that lack of end product. I think he's somewhat pacey, but to me that next level means he'd need something other than being "a little fast" and I'd expect more from him at this level to make that kind of move.
On the other hand, Karifa is a big loss. He was so good for us and I do think that he'd be able to move up in the world.

If Farsi was a foot taller he would have a good shot in Europe. Lets face it the cpl is a league for short kings.

Apparently Cavalry are about to sign a 29 year old CB from Peru. Played with Cusco FC in the Peruvian Primera division in 2021.

Renewed my season tickets! I won't be attending most games as I don't live in Calgary anymore (and will be moving even further away next spring), but damn if I don't support this team and hopefully make it back for a game or two!

Ozy, I PMed you. I've shared season tickets the past two seasons with someone who's not renewing. I'd be interested in sharing tickets with you if that's something that interests you.

Looks like Escalante and his family are staying in Calgary for Christmas. Have to think he'll be back with Cavalry, I doubt he would stick around if he were leaving the club.

I'd love to see him back here, here's a solid player for the Cavs. I hope his family likes Calgary and Canada!

I think Escalante is my favourite player on the club. Love how he fights for every inch and is one of the only guys willing to try stuff and play with flair. Now just need some more lefties so we can play him further up the pitch!

Looks like both Escalante and Minatel are coaching at Calgary SW United in the offseason. Would love to see both of them back next year.
