thank god the Rangnick deal is already done, otherwise I'd be worried they'd just give it to Carrick lol

As per BBC radio show Michael Carrick has left Manchester United. Unsure of circumstances.

Strange game.
Not sure if Arsenal deserved an equalizer but United deserved to concede one.

Two average teams.

fair play to him. Agreed to bridge the gap until Rangnick got his visa, calmly did his job and now bows out in a classy manner.

I hope Keane & Scholesy, offer some kinder words on Carrick's departure.

I agree, it's the right thing to do, to depart with the tenured staff. God I hope he doesn't go back to Spurs.

Agreed, but.... they had a point.

I'm more interested to hear Keane's thoughts on deGea's antics on the first goal.

I half expected him to just pretend it was a real injury and go off

12 goals in 16 matches in the EPL and Champions league for Ronaldo now...at the age of 36.

Crazy to think that people still think he's the issue with that squad, while they are running out Fred and McT in the midfield.

Spurs looked pretty good today and played a solid game. Conte seems to be having a positive impact and it was good to see them run pretty hard for that one.

He blew that opportunity once he sprinted after Atkinson when he awarded the goal.
Then he started limping again.

That's where you need someone to tear him apart in the changing room. If there's one player that should be playing to the whistle it's the keeper.

The thing I still don't understand is what was Atkinson blowing his whistle for anyways? Because he saw a player with a non head injury lying on the ground? The goal was awarded because he blew too late and was instructed by VAR that he had to award it.

If he had blew (for whatever reason) a second earlier things would have got messy for him.

Encouraging first presser with Ralf. Well spoken, & seems personable.

Haha, a few jammy goals and somehow West Ham wins. I wouldn’t suggest it’s deserved, but it’s funny to see.

Nope. Not a few jammy goals.
But let's not let exaggerations get in the way of facts.

Emenalo has rejected Newcastle. Now who's going to sign Mbappe for them this January?

Talks have already taken place with Lingard’s advisers and he has been offered a 4½-year deal significantly in excess of the £100,000-a-week salary of the club’s present top earner, Miguel Almirón.
this part is interesting because officially you are not allowed to contact players on expiring contracts before January 1. Now I'm not naive, I know this stuff happens all time ... but I must say I am surprised that teams don't even try to hide it anymore.

EDIT: for summer transfers that is. If they want him in January, United better negotiate a decent fee.

Oh Jota.
You've made the highlight reel for years to come.
Take your time. Make certain. Compose yourself. Tee it up. Couple of yards out. Centre of goal. Can't miss.. right?

I mean he could have walked it in, passed it to Mane, drop passed it to Salah even, but to not score....yikes

it's not just that he missed it, it's that out of all options he chooses the one where he drills the ball into Conor Coady's nuts. Pure gold.

I just love the goalie sprinting back behind the play, just makes it more hilarious.
