Default February 18th 7 games.

Philly/Rangers underway.

Scrap 15 seconds in....old time hatred. Love it.

75 seconds after that its 1-0 Rags.

Biggest game as far as the Flames go, is Dallas/SJ tonight...go Stars.

That game has lots going on. 6 goals and three scraps in period 1. 4-4 right now. It's a game from a bygone era.

A 15 year old girl sang the anthem at the Rangers game today, it was absolutely spot on, amazing voice for someone that age. She’s appearing on Broadway in School of Rock.

Weak goal to give up there.

The Oilers are just awful.

The oilers have generated 5 shots on goal already.

Simply amazing.

What a team.

Our RW depth is:

Ferland
Frolik
Versteeg (?)
Brouwer
Hathaway
Lazar

And people want to trade Frolik?

(though I would try Tkachuk at RW if I were Gulutzan - but even then, I wouldn't trade Frolik)

I've decided I can't cheer for the Oilers no matter who they play. If a team is tied with Calgary and a win pouts them ahead in the last day, maybe. Until then, let any Calgary competitor beat the Oilers (badly if possible) and Calgary just has to take care of their own business.

That Ava powerplay looked a lot like the Flames. Fairly easy zone entry, followed by peripheral passes and only a couple plays near the net.

Remenda: "everything's fine, everything's taken care of, a shot going wide hits a player and goes in".

Dude, the guy was WIDE open beside the net and the defenseman sent it his way on purpose.

Funny thing is that they credited the first shot to Mackinnon which was a wrap around attempt. He clearly just hit the side of the net as he didn't get the puck out far enough. Must have brought the Rexal shot counter guy. So it may say it was the second shot that went in, it was still clearly was the first shot. So yeah, visually better.
