Whats the point of this? Phaneuf doesnt make the Kings any better, just more expensive and slower.
You'd think the Kings would have learned their lesson about Boat-Anchor Contracts by now that they would be absolutely desperate to not only refuse to acquire more of them but actively work at ridding themselves of the ones they already have.
Dion Phaneuf is like the League's 'Hot Potato' hes got a contract that nobody wants to touch.
Good Lord, just go and look at his stats sheet....it reads like a Horror novel.

FWIW, doesn't appear the Kings have pulled any of their players from their game, so doesn't look a dressed player is going back the other way. Likely picks and/or prospects.

So lets see here....the Sens are notoriously cheap so I doubt they're retaining salary, but by the same token they likely want Dion gone so the price isnt likely to be all that high.
So....my Lord! Hes got 3 more years on that salary? Oh hell no....
Do it LA....help us out by sewering your own roster and sucking for the next few years!
Dion in the Division? That can only be good for us!
