hmm, don't remember seeing the play that may have caused that.
Never liked to see a guy get hurt, hope it's nothing serious. That being said, for how much flack he gets, let's see what this team looks like with him out now.

This does hurt our bottom 6, no doubt. Wonder if this impacts the immediacy of a potential trade at all.

He was beginning to turn it around and played with toughness and handled the puck a bit better. hopefully this isn't a setback to the Brouwer we thought we acquired but makes him hungrier down the stretch.

Maybe he still isn't worth 4.5m and hadn't played up to par last season, but he's been playing a lot better. What more could we ask for? This can give us an opportunity to get a look at another player.

Brouwer hurts every single line he's on. Everyone he plays with, plays better without him. Last night he gave the puck away on the break out with awful backhand passes up the middle on more than occasion.
Brouwer is not good at hockey. It's really unfortunate for him that he's injured, but the man is not a good hockey player at this stage of his career. The game has left him behind.
That said, I hope the injury isn't too serious. Speedy recovery, Troy.

I hope he is okay and recovers, but I don't seem to see the need to rush anything. I've read somewhere once that those face injuries can be super nagging, with a high probability of reoccurance if rushed back into service.
