The fact we finished top 10 on the PP last season is so damn misleading. The team was dead last for like half the season, only to have a pretty good run to end the season. That probably saved Cameron's job.
PP goals help win you games. Right now, ours does not. As long as T-Bro is on the PP, I have no hope of things ever changing.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 100% certain we are the only team who puts their f'ing 4th line winger with 0 PP goals on the 1st PP unit. No other coach could possibly be that dumb.

Cameron runs a miserable power play. I've seen a few people counter saying "Oh but Johnny/Monny/whoever should finish plays!" If they're being trained to play the most useless, predictable power play on the planet, is it really their fault if they can't finish? They're hardly getting proper chances to even potentially finish the way it's currently being played.
Cameron, you have a single bloody job. You can't create a power play that functions at even a halfway decent level when a single million dollar player we scooped off a PTO from Edmonton goes down with an injury? We have one of the most skilled wingers in the league in Gaudreau and a deadly goal scorer in Monahan, and what, you decide to throw Brouwer in with them for shiggles? The trio were inept at best as a line last season when we had Brouwer on the top line, they'll totally work as a PP unit! No, it also totally doesn't make sense to shake it up and swap one of our failing bluliners out on the top PP for someone with a wicked shot like Hamilton or Stone, of course not.
Try literally anything to shake it up, I beg. Yes they've used Jankowski up there a couple times, but it's entirely worthless if they're still trying to force the same ineffective power play strategy.

Not only does or PP not help us win games, it wastes time and kills our energy and momentum. We literally play better and have more chances without the PP.
Flames are fading fast, and the snake is looking rather impotent this month. If something isn't changed quickly, any post-season hopes will evaporate by the New Year.

Between the terrible performance and the stubborn use of Brouwer, can anyone present a case that Cameron should retain his job?
I don't know if I can make one for his benefit.

Almost as frustrating to me as watching the PP are the coaches' comments about it. They don't like it yet they keep using the same players with the same strategy.
The stick with it philosophy is blood boiling. When the regular lines need a spark you see a blender. However zero changes on PP?!?
I don't get it.

Think about it, which coaches are saying it? I don't believe Cameron is overly concerned about GG's job.

It's become a head game for the players. They look nervous and afraid to make plays so they stand around waiting for something to happen. A timely PP goal might help with their confidence, then again maybe they need another train ride to breal the funk they are in.

Everyone one should be fired. All of them.
Then they should rehire Greg Gilbert and fire him the very next day just to send a message.

We literally have 3 coaches that should only be AHL coaches
How Cameron and GG ever got out of the AHL is amazing.

I don’t understand why some people want to fire only an assistant, and not the guy that is actually in charge and responsible for everything coaching related. If you don’t like the power play, then GG has to be first in line for replacement.

A 73 million dollar asset, with a limited window, who's success can amount to millions of dollars in revenue and this team decides to roll the dice on a bunch of inexperienced guys with spotty records of success to manage it. Seems par for the course for this organization.

The problem is that if they fire GG and not Cameron, after GG is gone, guess who will be in charge?

Since the start of the season I've been shakin my head at this PP.
1)- Brouwer even on it is a head massager (probably a Treliving order)
2)- Brodie instead of Hamilton on the 1st unit is dumb
3)- Gaudreau needs to play low right side
