After he hurt my feelings and insulted me, I said to myself: "That's deplorable, unfathomable, improbable. It's outrageous, egregious, preposterous!"
But now that I know he won't get a better return thats OK by me! Was just trying to look out for the young feller.

Extensive experience. Sure, but not in our league with our rules. There was a GM that we had just I think two years ago who also claimed had a lot of experience but he had to go through the voting process as well, (Didn't he?) before he just bailed on us,?
Regardless...
Was the fact that he doesn't need league approval communicated on here or just amongst the commissioner team?
If he's exempt from any rules, I think that's a pretty important piece of information that should have been discussed or conveyed to the rest of the league.

Ok I guess that was a miss on my part not to say it.
He’s not exempt from rules. I just felt he’s got a ton of experience in these leagues and didn’t need the extra step particualrly taking over an asset rich team

YThat's true. Voting isn't just about fair trades, it's also an opportunity to help out new gms with how the league operates, so they are not at a disadvantage.
I'm probably ok with the trades that have been done, but feedback early is pretty important.

After moving Lindell, we were on the look-out for another strong defensive option, and it's fun having a Flamer on the team.
Big Z's contract isn't great as he requires a 3-yr RFA deal, hence why some cheese was moved.
Vejmelka is a good goalie on a bad team. With my goalie luck, he'll get traded and will light it up and it'll be a big win for the Blues!
