Default Edmonton Accomodations

First off .....yeah i know we all despise Edmonton and why would i go stay there..... however I need to setup a large group accommodation in Edmonton for 4-5 days and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a larger group of 16 to 20.

This same group does a golf trip every year to Kimberley of Invermere and we typically rent 3 or 4 townhouses together (3 or 4 bedroom units) for the group and was looking for something similar with some privacy. Im not interested in a hotel at all as we typically will designate one of the units to hang out and play poker drink and hang out in well into the evening. My preference would be townhouse type units or cabins but they would need to be all together. i haven't been able to find anything online and thought i would throw this out to the braintrust that is CP and see if anyone might have some recommendations.

I am open to a short drive outside of Edmonton and have looked at places like Pigeon Lake but nothing i have found will accommodate that many people comfortably.

Is the Sky Palace available? Hell, we paid for it...I'll let you have my share. Sounds like a good party!

Sorry, I'm not much help.

Nothing specific to add other than to suggest searching for short term suite rentals and see what comes up. Interesting question, first time I have seen interest in something like this for a major city rather than a resort environment.

^ something like the mansion is likely the only kind of the option that would meet your needs as I doubt that there would be a "resort style" hotel set up in Edmonton

I'm pretty sure you'd find something suitable on AirBnB. You might be able to find a group of apartments within one building (overbuilt unsold or unrented units). You definitely can in Calgary, so Edmonton is probably not too different.

Which leads to the next question:

Who the #### famous would build anything just outside of Mulltetville?

Even that mansion, with the incredible potential it has, is so Edmonton with the shabby photos and grammar mistakes.

And the outdated design. Could use a renovation, don't think that mansion has been nice since the 80's. Probably needs a 10 year rebuild.

You could always sleep in the alleys surrounding Roger's place, I understand that the aroma is...pungent, but theres always room for one more.
