Where to buy discounted Halloween Costumes

I'm looking to buy my kids deeply discounted halloween costumes. Where should I go?

I know some stores pull stock pretty quick to put up christmas stuff. Anyone seen any today, how about costco?

Spirit of Halloween closed up shop yesterday. They had a 50% of sale day and everything was cleared out.

Halloween Alley is still open today from what I know.

All the major stores have replaced their Halloween sections with Christmas so you'll likely have no luck.

Costco was in Christmas mode last Monday when I was there. Couldn't even get cheap Halloween candy!

I'd check a lot of the online retailers. Even with shipping and exchange/duties, you can get some pretty crazy deals. The only issue is with sizing.

Superstore and walmart were all 75% off.

I remember seeing deeply discounted costumes ar Old Navy online but they sell out fast. We bought a tiger costume a couple years ago the day after online and it was $2 or $3. Great deal.

Costco won't sell out of season stuff at a discount. A lot of the items they carry are more or less on consignment, so whatever doesn't sell goes back to the distributer and they sit on the stock. Which is why you see wet suits in February, Haloween candy in July, and Christmas Trees in August, so the distributors have a larger window and don't get stuff sent back to them.
