Yeah, I have a hard time seeing any of the other NFC North teams gaining ground on them next year. The Vikings and Lions have two anchor contracts at the QB position and who knows what will happen in Green Bay.

Those two might be a dream team. Kubiak has a good reputation and not known to have a big ego (after all he’d be a head coach if he wanted).

Things would get very interesting if this does happen, Kingsbury said he'd take Murray #1 during the season. Wonder if that's why the Cardinals were so locked in on Kingsbury, they knew Murray was going to declare.

Arians simply realizing after a year in the booth he could make some cool cash somewhere with no expectations. His last couple years in Arizona were a waste.

As for McCarthy, you can’t break up Kitchens and Mayfield after the pretty incredible run they had after firing Jackson.

I can see McCarthy replacing Tomlin next season or offseason.

Fangio will last 2 years and Kubiak will take over. Have to think Fangio was desperate to be a head coach at his age, but like Norv Turner and Wade Phillips, some are just meant best to be coordinators.

Kingsbury is Lane Kiffen 2.0.

Dolphins and Bengals the only ones without a coach now. Dolphins going for a home run I think (Harbaugh or another big name, if they can), Bengals will go as cheap as possible.

Bengals had massive attendance issues this season. Can you imagine trying to sell season tickets after it's announced they just hired the coach with the worst win percentage in the history of the NFL? A coach where the Browns immediately got better when he was fired?

My feeling is that they ideally would like to hire Hue as the head coach but realize that would result in likely record low attendance in 2020 so they will be looking for another guy but will be pushing the new coach to keep Hue as the offensive coordinator which will eliminate pretty well any decent candidate.

True story. A guy I work with that goes to Phoenix regularly to golf were there in November for a week of golf and one day a nice fella asked if he could join in with them for a round. It was none other than Ray Horton who was the defensive coordinator for the Browns from 2016-2017. One of the guys asked if he planned on getting back into the NFL and he said he'd like to but it may take some time for the stench of Hue and the Browns to wear off.

Gerry Dulac ✔ @gerrydulac
BREAKING: Steelers president Art Rooney II said he s not going to release Antonio Brown, but “all other options are on the table.” He would not say Steelers are going to trade their All-Pro receiver, but left no doubt that is a strong possibility. Story coming soon on PG site.

Gerry Dulac ✔ @gerrydulac
In an interview with PG, Rooney even went so far as to say it would be “hard to envision” Antonio Brown being with the Steelers when they report to training camp in July.

Jets, Niners, and Raiders are the teams I see as most likely landing spots for him.

according to Dulac, Rooney confirmed that Brown still hasn't answered any phone calls from Rooney or Tomlin. Top professional.

Hopefully this is a wake up call for the Rooneys. All those self-centered divas have been allowed to run the show for way too long, it needs to stop. Too bad though that the enabler of that gong-show will still be on the sideline next season.

Was it here someone said the Steelers ate a 21 million dollar cap hit if they get rid of him? You’ve really gotta hate a guy to decimate your cap like that.

Trading Brown is impossible, attitude or not the production is basically matched only by Julio and the cap ramifications are disastrous. Yeah that team needs to clean up the locker room drama, but getting even value is going to be impossible. They might not be able to get even one first rounder since teams know they're looking to unload, might be something like the Alex Smith to KC deal where it was two seconds.

yeah I did. They'd only clear about 1m if they traded him, so I didn't think it'd be worth it.

I thought if they trade him after the 2.5 million bonus on June 1 its only like 15 million on the cap? While not desirable its certainly not the worst.

Most podcasts I listen to and the guests they have expect a trade.

They also get a 16 million cap credit this year for Bell.

So it's not a big deal at all, in a way.

The 1 year cap credit isn't really that useful unless you want to release a player or in a situation like this. (Or franchise tag I guess)
