Where / How to find cheap ground shipping rate within Canada

Hi, I am trying to sell some big and heavy items (such as an amp and guitar) to different parts of Canada (BC, East Coast, etc), and also I may buy some big and heavy items from various locations in Canada.

Where and how can I find cheap ground shipping rate? Speed is not a concern. I am not a business so I very occasionally will need this shipping service. So if anyone know where I can get quotes for cheap courier service (don't necessary need door-to-door service, drop-off and pick-up points are fine) I would really appreciate some help here.

I have friends that use Day and Ross to ship pinball games across the country.

My sister works for Day & Ross. She said this sounds like high value personal effects and the price would be very high. She said Canada Post or UPS would be cheaper

My Dad moved to BC and used UShip to ship some of his stuff from Calgary to the new house. You post what you want and shippers can bid on your job.
