I loved Power Rangers growing up. I will watch this and probably enjoy it regardless of how good or bad it is.

I think the general consensus is that it looks way better than it should. Interested to see how it turns out now.

Guardians is still the best Marvel movie to date, IMO, with daylight between 2nd place (probably Winter Soldier). Very excited for this.

I enjoyed GotG and am looking forward to the sequel but don't get the hype that it was the best Marvel movie to date.

My nit-picking criticisms would be:

-A horrible villain, possibly the 2nd worst after the one from Thor 2.
-Too much CGI
-Too many characters to introduce. The Guardians were fine and I could relate and root for them but I didn't care at all about Nova Prime and wouldn't have been too upset if it was destroyed.

The villain was more of a side character. It was more of an Alice in Wonderland type scenario, where you have the main characters running into a series of adventures. Ronan was technically the main villain, but you also had the Collector, Thanos, the Nova Corps, the people in the jail, etc...

I'm at the point now where these Marvel movies are quickly becoming unwatchable. GotG however is just straight up entertaining. I also thought the CGI was very good.

I also quite liked it. In the age of "dark" super hero movies (Marvel and DC), it is nice to finally be back to the uplifting enjoyable super hero movies.

The first one spews so much positively its great. From its music to the end where the theme of friendship and teamwork overcomes the lone wannabe ruler's power.

This one doesn't look too super-heroish. Plus it's always good to have Troutman do your trailer music.
