One thing about moving to Okotoks, I haven't found a good pizza place yet. Any recommendations? I just went with Papa Johns tonight rather than roll the dice.
I miss living 2 blocks away from Jon's Pizza

I really like them. You could say they're light on the toppings for the price, but for the kind of pizza it is I think it's just right.

I’m in the S.E. so big fan of Jon’s and like to mix in a little Western Pizza from Cranston. Different types of pie but both are good...
Last weekend I went for the throw back and got down and dirty with good ol Chicago Deep Dish... went straight for that corner piece and never looked back. Talk about guilty pleasures!

Damn too bad Okotoks Pizza and Pasta wasn't still around on Elizibeth street. It was a pizza I would actually come from Calgary to get sometimes back in the day, it was that good. Then they changed ownership and apparently went way down hill, and it sounds like they've shut down now.

Still enjoying Wheat - Pizza by Jay. Family run shop in the area of 19 Street and 20 Avenue NW (by Branton school).
Went with the weekly feature the last couple of times. Everytime it is delicious.

Not sure if the Calgary location is any different, but I tried Blaze out in the US last week. It was ok I guess....on par with something like California Pizza Kitchen. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to order it.

I grew up in Douglasdale eating Jon's almost every Friday.
It's crazy to me that people classify it as good.
It was always okay (other than the 2 for 1 deal they used to have). I guess I haven't had it in at least 10 years, but I can't imagine it's changed much.

I've heard the keto pizza from Jon's is really good. Haven't tried it myself though.

Have had blaze a couple of times. It is the equivalent to subway only pizza.
It's about $10ish and its stone fired.

I wouldn't drive across town to get it but it's better than any of the chains and was 5 blocks away, it was perfect

Got Bow tie again on a whim.
What a great pie. Got their cheesy bread to test out for science.
Can confirm cheesy bread rules too.

I love two pizza places:
Mercato Pizza
4th Street Pizza
Two great pizza joints. A little pricier (especially Mercato Pizza) but I don't eat a ton of pizza so it makes for a great little treat.

Tried Pizza Box in the NW on the weekend. I was not impressed. It's basically more expensive Panago with way worse service. I won't be back.
