Yeah, it's BS. General Comic book fan consensus favors Doom winning over Wonder Woman. Magneto winning over Thanos made zero sense either.
This really has become a poll based on who's name is widely recognised with Superman likely to win this
Even though I don't agree with your anti-pineapple stance when it comes to pizze, I totally agree with you here. Dr. Doom and Thanos are both one of my favourite characters. Magneto isn't too bad either, but there is no way Doom should have lost to Wonder Woman. He's such a more interesting character. I always found Wonder Woman to be pretty bland. Just like Superman.
Funny, growing up, I always found Thor to be such a vanilla superhero. Like he was just there. He was never the Avenger that stood out. I guess kudos to Marvel for fleshing out the story and finding a guy like Hemsworth that made people interested in the character.
Dr. Strange, I've always liked, but I also found him to be more of a niche character rather than a mainstream popular one, like Spiderman or Wolverine.
I guess my own top 5 superheroes / villians that I liked growing up were:
1.) Wolverine (loved that he was Canadian, hated that he got the shaft from Jean Grey because of Cyclops, whom I also hated as a character)
2.) Venom (always liked him over Spiderman)
3.) Adam Warlock (Infinity Guantlet / War influence)
4.) Thanos (wanted him to win, tbh)
5.) Gambit (not sure why, but loved his superpowers)

I feel the same, but for the most part the interesting and likeable characters are balanced rather than unstoppable. They're not made for this contest.

I think Strange wins this regardless of whether it's Thor or Superman. He can bend reality and basically do whatever the hell he wants, he put one of the most powerful cosmic beings into a timeloop, and we've already seen him treat Thor and Loki like muppets. He wouldn't even have to fight Superman, he could just seal him off in another dimension for all eternity
