why are people complaining about Nash? He has a lot of experience on the big ice (2nd home in Davos) and he had Ovechkin in his back pocket in the 2010 Quarterfinal.

Wtf? Nash, Carter and Marleau over St. Louis and Giroux?

Giroux is the highest scoring Canadian over the last three seasons and has been hot after a slow start.
Don't understand how you leave him off and put Nash on over him.

Nash the only one I have a bit of a thing against. The rest is fine. Carter has been playing really well on a PPG basis. Would have liked to see Marty St Louis on the squad in place of Nash.

Not that he wasn't a long shot, but do you really have to be a "homer" to think that Gio is better than Hamhuis?

@iamsas: Team USA announcement: cute kids at winter classic. Team Canada announcement: dozen speeches by suits in front of black curtain.

A few bad picks:
Nash, Marleau, Bouwmeester, Carter...
How many can we staple to the bench each game?

Because he's been concussed this year and hasn't played well at all this season. Iginla has played well for Team Canada maybe they should bring him too?

@AnthraxJones 2m Taylor Hall didn't make Team Canada because every player had to answer a skill-testing question in order to qualify

Not a fan of the Nash pick. Kunitz will be a scrutinized pick for sure.

Marleau and Nash are soooooooo 4 years ago.
St. Louis is timeless and Giroux is on fire.

Nashs play doesn't warrant being on this team but he has long been an international participation for Canada and always shows up to the worlds. Think he got some participation points on this one...
Hamhuis makes me sick though.

You leaving the reigning Art Ross winner and feeder to one of your top snipers off the team? Can't see how Nash has earned his way onto this team.

He's recovered and it's a short tournament, there is a role for him.
