I'm predicting that the Avs are landing Guentzel - just cleared up capspace to do it and Byram should definitely move the needle for PITT

The scouts just didn't want to take on Johansen. Which is probably the right call when the value between 2nd and Grushnikov vs a 1st isn't nearly big enough to justify taking on Johansen.

I have a feeling Johansen can be moved next season retained for at least a 2nd. I would have preferred the 1st and Johansen for Tanev.

I also think that Johansen may have value next year, similar to Kuzmenko.
All good though, I'm happy with what we got.
Will be interesting to see what Colorado does next.

Curious why you think that?
He was awful in Nashville last season and was bought out. Got this deal from Colorado and has underwhelmed massively. Now he will be 32 next season in Philly. Seems like he just a cap dump and nothing else.
