Alright since the pessimists bump this thread every time a drop of rain hits the ground then I'm going to start fighting back.

What a perfect god damn night out. Sun was out, nice and hot but not sweltering, no real wind, great sunset.

Calgary weather.

What about west nile? I actually react very poorly to mosquito bites like a bad allergic reaction from the bodies release of histamines but I was kidding about the weather not about the dirty dirty plague that awaits me this weekend during landscaping now that its actually going to be dry.

Yeah, I thought we were going to get royally shat on but no hail, thank sweet freaking baby FSM. Was not really digging having to make another insurance claim for the house/cars - once 5 years ago was plenty.

And now with monster Northern Pike in Nose Creek that you can catch. Airdrie, now the sport fishing capital of Alberta.

Awesome! You're in Bonavista right? My neighbour is part of a Pitbull Facebook group and they were looking for a venue for their annual digging competition.

PM me your address?

Snow is good for sod though so it has to be a drought

Another beauty day thus far. This is what Calgary needs/deserves more of!

That said, looks like south of the city (below Glenmore) is about to get hit by a narrow, somewhat rainy cell. Everything north of Glenmore will remain sunny skies. Seeders en route

How many beautiful days do you expect a year in Calgary out of curiosity? I'm guessing 30 would make most happy.

As a former Calgarian it makes me curious as where I live now probably averages 340 beautiful days a year.

It depends what you mean by beautiful. I lived in Arizona for a while and 340 days of sunshine with no clouds made me into whatever the crazier opposite of a lunatic is. I hated it. Perfect weather days for me would be rain, and then sun, and then snow, and then snowy rainbows.
