Just looking at this episode, I feel really strongly that Sabine is still safe guarding Lothal. If Thrawn has somehow returned from the Unknown Regions the implications should be terrifying for the new republic. I also now know why the Empire is so interested in Beskar. Those Droids are Jedi Killers, think about them as Magna Droids phase 2.

The music in this episode was the best yet.

I had another terrifying idea of who smuggled Grogu out of the temple because it could be really tragic

I believe this scene takes place after Mandalorian, since Jacen Syndulla looks to be around 8.

But it's got to be close. This episode is almost like a teaser for that story arc.

I looked at the video clip a couple of times to make sure that she wasn't carrying a Beskar Staff.

I've never watched any of the animated shows, and I still thought that episode was loads of fun. I don't think you need to be a SW super nerd to understand what's going on story-wise. Overall this show does a pretty great job of catering to hardcores, the not-so-hardcores, and newbies alike. Granted, I'll admit I did google some stuff before watching the episode, which certainly added to my enjoyment of it.

I thought Rosario was terrific, and I loved the western/samurai vibe of the episode. I'm hoping we'll see more of Ashoka going forward, but I agree this did feel like kind of a one-off episode for that character.

Quick question for the hardcores: when Ashoka mentions that there aren't many Jedi left, does she mean Luke and Leia? Are there others from the animated shows/books who might be alive? I assume she'd definitely be aware of Luke since he played such a huge role in taking down the Empire and defeating Vader/Palpatine.

Right at that time, there weren't many Jedi left, Luke for sure, Leia was probably in training. Other then that there might be survivng Jedi hiding out, but out of the 10,000 Jedi at the start of the PT, there is maybe three left that are trained. Luke, Leia and Ezra, maybe what's his face from the video game

There are rumors of other survivors and in the EU Legends there were lots, but in new Canon they were pretty silent.

As long as they don't bring back the Jorus C'baoth storyline in anyway I'll be happy.

And I have to say I think Rosario Dawson killed it as Ahsoka! If the rumours are true about an Ahsoka series, I'm fully on board!

Would love to see a Mace Windu return. Sam Jackson is obviously keen and his point about many Jedi surviving worse is so true.

He was electrified and fell several hundred story, the only way he should come back is in a novelty jar. And there's something poetic about Mace being a hyprocritical and in the end a bad jedi that couldn't see Skywalkers fall.

Maul was cut in half and tossed down a hole. If he can return, so can Mace.

Palpatine was hurled into the reactor of the Death Star just before it was blown to pieces. If he can return, so can Mace.

It is a show about space wizards and we are complaining about how resurrection isn't realistic?

No, and I hate this argument.

We’re complaining that the resurrection is stupid within the previously established rules of the universe. Nobody is expecting realism, but we would like a coherent and consistent set of rules in the universe.

Is there a reason this Asoka character wears an airline pillow as a hat?

In the immortal words of Tony Stark "He's from space, he came here to steal a necklace from a wizard". (in other words, just go with it, it will look cool)

People, it says “SPOILERS” in the thread title. Lay it on us!

I knew nothing of Ashoka other than a handful of clone wars clips I’ve caught. So, as someone with no prior knowledge: Whoa that was awesome! Ashoka is awesome!

Do you mean her head tails?

They're a natural part of her body, similar to the head tails on the dancing girl in Jabba's palace in ROTJ. I believe the upper part is supposed to be more bony, like horns, and the lower parts are fleshy.

As for an easter egg, I swear that broken down droid limping around the town was the torture droid in Jabba's Palace in ROTJ.
