Look for Z somewhere outside the Paris. He's the man with the hook up for midgets.

Glad I could help.

As far as shows go, if you're a music fan, don't forget to look up concerts while you're there. Most people get wrapped up in the regular vegas shows and big headliners.

My wife and I were able to catch Ben Folds at the House of Blues. Best. Concert. Ever. We've wanted to see him for years, but he never tours north of the 49th. Just happened to be playing a one night only deal the night we got there. Not saying that happens every time, but something I look into every time we go, just in case.

If you want to piss off your wife. Start flipping through the escort adds while muttering "had her had her had her . . . need her . . . . Dammmmnnnn"

Then look at her shrug and say "what happens in Vegas . . . "

When I was in Vegas a few years ago, me and my girlfriend took a tour of the Moonlight Bunny Ranch because she wanted a T-Shirt.

Some of those girls Dammmmnnnn. Still have the menu though it was way out of my price range, not that I would be paying for sex

You know.

http://www.allvegaspoker.com/

This a good site for info about all the poker rooms in Vegas. They have reviews, games/limits/tournaments offered, trip reports etc. It looks like some of the rooms haven't been updated in awhile, but it'll give you a good idea of what to expect.

AC/DC is there the night before we arrive. Would have been a nice one to see. And Muse is going to be there, but I think I'm the only fan of theirs out of the group of us that is going, and I don't feel like going to a concert myself.

I love going to Vegas and it always intrigues me what different people do down there in different situations. I guess that's what is so great about Vegas is that you can go down there with your wife/girlfriend, buddies, or just a big group and it's fun as long as you and the group make it a good time.

I know that when I've been down with my buddies in past trips we always hit up the pool parties during the day and clubs at night. I've also been there with an ex and it was still a great time, albiet a much different experience.

I haven't been in the piano bar, but I've hung around outside eat eating pizza (Siricco's Pizza is good btw), and the piano bar seems like a good time. My wife's parents have been to the piano bar in Harrah's and they say it was a blast.

As for shows, I saw Mystere last October. Just went to a Cirque show to appease the wife, and I actually enjoyed it. Look forward to seeing O or Ka the next time we're in town.

Just got back from Vegas and had a blast. Would definitely recommend Ka, especially if you're a guy. Seemed like a surreal live action ninja movie. Also did the helicopter tour of the strip, Hoover dam and Grand Canyon and thought that was pretty good.

Foodwise I tried a spectrum; Buffets at MGM (good crab, horrible prime rib) and Excalibur (cheap but average), Tao (cool decor but overated food on all counts), and RM (very good). I second the cheesesteak at New York New York.

The best shopping outlet is the one closer to downtown, by the new government building.

That's the one I told the wife I'd like to see. I saw videos of both Ka and O and Ka seemed a little more up my alley, although I'm sure I'd like O as well. Love looks ok, but is not scheduled/playing while we're there, so that one is out.

Hotel
-If you've been before and would like to stick around the hotel a little more, Mandalay Bay is my pick. It has the best pool and an aquarium.
-If you've never been and want to venture the strip, stick to something more in the middle...ideally Bellagio or Caesers if you can afford it.

Restaurants
Everyone will have their opinions, but my absolute must-do recommendation is Yellowtail in the Bellagio for Sushi! Make sure to get a table on the patio overhanging the fountains.

I go to Vegas every year and I don't gamble. You can go to a lot of shows and so on. Food-wise, if you are into seafood, check out that restaurant at RIO. They have a wicked seafood buffet there. I always like to stay in Caesar's Palace but cannot afford it. Caesar's is actually in the middle of the good places. You can walk around sight seeing or walk around to good places and restaurants.

If you want to go for a dinner that both the adults and the kids will like, try going to BLT Burger (http://www.bltburger.com/) in The Mirage. There are tons of choices for burgers - I got the Wagyu beef burger - and the milkshakes are out of this world good. Plus they have a really good beer selection. I highly recommend this place.

The Harley Davidson restaurant on the strip has really good food with big portions and pretty reasonable prices.

Edit: I just noticed you said no kids. If you want a really nice dinner, go to Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill in Caesar's Palace. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it. Probably one of the top 3 meals I've had in my entire life. I had duck breast with carrot habanero sauce and a chili rellanos for an appetizer. Phenomenal food. Even without the kids, I would still recommend eating at BLT burger.

I saw Ka when I was last there, and it was amazing. Well worth the money.

If you want to see a comedy show, you could go see Carrot Top in The Luxor. I heard it's actually a really great show, and not too expensive. Get the tickets for it at one of the Tix4Tonight booths. http://www.tix4tonight.com/. There's one across the street from the Mirage, beside the Dennys. They open at I think 10am and there's usually about 30 people in line.

If your wife is open minded, or with your buddies, go to the Badda Bing or Spearmint Rhino. Go with some money though. It can get pricey. haha

Almost all the women at Spearmint are drop dead gorgeous too. Badda Bing was a good time because it was more local and more personable. Spearmint your eyes will pop.

I'm kind of surprised how many positive reviews I've seen for him on the 'net......I always thought his show would be a bit lame, but apparently not.

I've also heard that Terry Fator's show is quite good.
