this is the conversation my daughter (who is 5) and i had:

daughter: dad, what team are we cheering for?
me: the hurricanes. they are wearing black
daughter: who is wearing white?
me: that's the oilers.
daughter: why don't we cheer for the oilers?
me: becuz the oilers are no good!
daughter: that means they are terrible right?
me: (pretty much bursting out in laughter) yes honey... they are terrible!

Seriously if you were coming into the draft wouldn't you do anything in your power to avoid being drafted by the Oilers? All they do is ruin careers. By going to Edmonton you're basically costing yourself a career and possibly hundreds of millions of dollars. Why would anyone agree to play there?

The last time we played them I definitely saw the potential. I’d be willing to agree with you here for sure. Luckily I doubt he ever amounts to anything while in Edmonton.
