imagine spending over £300m in January, only to play 0-0 vs Fulham at home. Wild.

It's really so great. I hope they spent all that money and it turns out to be a disaster.

Quite the drop off in the last year for Aubameyang.

Just over a year ago he was captain of the club currently heading the PL.

Now he can't ever make the CL squad of the team currently sitting in ninth.

New manager bump aside, this Everton performance should be the end of Lampard's career. Basic competence from Dyche has them looking solid.

it's somewhat poetic that Tarkowski of all people kicks off the Dyche era at Everton.

Liverpool players have just given up at this point. Endless time and space for opponents.

Was Mane really the glue holding it all together? They were two wins away from the quadruple last year, to be this horrific so fast is pretty remarkable.

Don’t know how Villa are losing this, but down 3-2 at the half vs Leicester, should be winning 3-0, some real questionable defense

sigh. A red card like this is always annoying, but when it's an important player like Casemiro, it really stings. Completely unnecessary.

I'm more annoyed with useless Antony for starting the whole thing.
That was a lot worse than it looked and not violent at all. You just have to look at the way Hughes walks away indifferent to it all.

Having said that. VAR looks at Casemiro but not this?

How much rope does Klopp get there? It’s a pretty disastrous season, but then again the guy did win CL just a couple years ago.

I really dont know.

In some ways you could think he's lost it, but between a hangover from last season, the mid-season World Cup, an ageing core group of players and the potential sale of the club?

Its really hard to say. I'd imagine there is pressure there, but he's well regarded, has a decent amount of time left on his contract...see this season out and deal with the fallout I guess.

I’d change out the entire squad before getting rid of Klopp. He’d have endless rope from me, as long as he wants it.

Of course you didn't. I mean there was nothing in last season that would make you think they'd be challenging this season. Not as many episodes of the Terence and Phillip show lately.
