I love Benny, but he's one of the most frustrating Flames to watch during the regular season.
Unfortunately it's unlikely he holds a tonne of value.

He’s obviously not going to progress here. And unfortunately I think he likely does in his next landing spot. But maybe it is time to move on. Just feel like it’s a trade that we will look back on like we lost.

This makes complete sense.
This organization rewarded their best player in the playoffs by starting him as the 4th line between Nordstrom and Lucic.
Best of luck Benny, I hope he does well elsewhere and I hope the team gets a decent return.

No surprise. He hasn't been given a solid chance but he hasn't exactly made them give him one either. He'd get more ice time on many other teams.
