Aw, I thought the monologue was cute. Not a great show, though
The audience screaming was definitely distracting and annoying.
An entire sketch about one song is not entertaining
Bad Bunny had horrific energy and lip synced everything

I thought it was funny that during the sea shanty sketch, he was the only one visibly not singing, even though he was the musical guest on the show.
Usually, when there's a weak episode, a lot of it is because the host isn't very strong, but I thought Page was actually good, he was just stuck with some of the worst sketches they've had in a long time.
They don't usually do this many episodes in a row without a break, I wonder if they're burning out? If so, next week's should be an absolute disaster.

5 weeks in a row is strange. Maybe trying to get to 20 before there is another lock-down.

Maya Rudolph is one of those ex-cast members that keeps exploiting the connection. I don't think she's that funny. She also has a propensity to grub Amy Poehler's and Kristin Wiig's boobs every time they get to be together on stage without it being a part of the joke. Did it again at Golden Globes yesterday. Weird.

You both like Steely Dan, for reasons I can't fathom.

There is a circle for sure:
Alec Baldwin
Maya R
Kristin Wiig
Martin Short
Steve Martin
Trying to think of others but its the “oh what’s X up to? Nothing? Oh well they love hopping back on. Call them. Lorne loves them, and is Paul Simon still alive enough to sing? Book him too”

The Feb. 20 Rege-Jean Page show had Chloe Fineman do a Britney Spears sketch as the cold open. It was a coincidence that the repeat episode that night was Spears as host and musical guest. It was a good show with the churning butter skit, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtZqajiluhk Fallon and Dratch are the Boston teens.
When she was introduced, she talked about her fake breasts,

There was a hilarious raunchy skit with Kattan, Shannon, and others along with a decent Weekend update.
This past Saturday, it was a recent repeat from 2 seasons ago with Don Cheadle.

I respect their musical ability but they don't do anything for me. I've tried to give them a chance and maybe I should go back, Jack, and do it again.

Totally. I have zero issues with anyone saying "I don't like Steely Dan's music. It's not my thing". To each their own. Very different from "Steely Dan sucks" though. Musically, Steely Dan is at the very top of the jazz-rock totem pole - as composers, poets and arrangers they are universally revered among musicians and fans. Plus. their records, without exception are all masterpieces of sound quality. Don Fagen's solo work is equally amazing.

That was definitely one of the funniest shows of the season.
Beyonce hot wings, Boomers Got the Vax, and the Eminem and Shining parodies were all great. And Bowen Yang's Weekend Update bit was really well done.
