Flames sign D Brandon Davidson (1yr, $700k, 2 way)

Davidson, a native of Taber, AB, played in 10 games with the Chicago Blackhawks last season notching an assist and 15 penalty minutes. The 27-year-old blue-liner has 162 games of NHL experience divided between Edmonton, Montreal, the New York Islanders and Chicago. Davidson has nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points and 78 penalty minutes in his NHL career.

Very little sense? We need players to play in Stockton still. Why not have players that have previous NHL experience?
It's a 2 way contract, he'll play in the AHL. We lost Ollas-Mattson and Healey recently from the Stockton D. Plus Kylington and Valimaki could/should both be with the Flames full-time.

He'll have to switch numbers. Davidson has worn 88 his whole career but Mangiapane has it. Really hope Mang doesn't switch, 88 is a sweet couple digits.
