Not in the same weight class. Good on him for dropping the gloves, but Reaves is easily the better scrapper.
Ah yes, sorry Kootenay, missed that.

If Vegas goes to the finals then yes I'm willing to stand behind Stone being a really good bet for MVP. I could easily see it happening, if you will. But I'm sure you'll keep debating minutia and semantics as you do.
You're going a little overboard based on one game is all...even bumped the trade thread lol

Vegas could make the finals...they could also lose in this round or the next pretty easily...teams are all fairly even

wee bit early to be talking MVP

Hmmmm...you’re wrong. If Reeves landed 10 punches, Kane wouldn’t be trash talking and laughing at the end of the fight.

No need to say sorry, I wasn't clear at all. My post was misleading.

Reaves is just a big tough dude. I'd expect most players to lose to him in a scrap.

Carrier and Eakin have two of the most punchable faces in the NHL.

Reaves really clocked him a couple of times. I think Kane is going to have a sore face tomorrow.
I have to give Kane credit, he can take a punch.

Exactly this, the only ones that would have a hope against Reaves from the Flames would be Peluso and Prout. Even then, Reaves is a step above Prout but on par with Peluso.

Kane is a absolutely a good fighter (for a non heavy) and a tough hombre. Good for him, with the attempt.

Hmm I'm not sure if that's true... Kane would trash talk and laugh regardless the outcome of the fight or how many hits he took. Kane's a tough cookie and can certainly take hits among the best of them

Credit to Kane- didn’t think he would go with Reaves. Smart move by Reaves though- Kane actually is a guy you’d want on the ice with 2 min left. Other than punching faces and running guys Reave is absolutely useless. Good trade-off for the knights.

They really managed to make those 60 wins meaningless.

Anyone else listen to the Sharks game on 960? There were 2 commentators, 1 guy was professional and called the game, and the other guy was the biggest homer I've heard in a long time. It was like he KNEW the Sharks were going to the Cup Final and learned that Vegas is a good team, guy just unravelled.

I definitely agree with you, the game was on Sportsnet 650 as well.
