The biggest favorite in the NHL is down 2-0 and just lost 5-1

I think you guys saying their top line can't keep up this production and ice time should probably take a looksy back at their season.

If our hope rests on "well they gave us their absolute best and played the hell out of their top line, that was the best they could do and barely beat us", then be prepared for 3 more wins based on the Av's top line playing like superstars with a **** tonne of minutes

I think the flames will ropeadope them over the course of the series. I don't think the flames have even woken up yet. You got signs of it late in the game though. I think we're going to see a lot more of that strong possession flames game going forward.

I'm really confident in these guys on the road, especially after getting fed their desert on home ice. Young team has to learn by going through it.

If you haven’t woken up two games into the playoffs, chances are you’ll be knocked out.

Yeah no let's overhaul a team that just won the Western conference, because overreacting to a playoff loss has never worked out badly in the past for anyone. You guys are smart.

Anyway I wouldn't worry, unless the goaltending goes south. Hall did this last year against the Lightning. The Avs, despite playing a fantastic game of hockey, still needed a fortunate bounce off a skate in the final couple minutes to get it to OT. They're boxing a glacier. Don't let past playoff disappointments make you too cynical, this team is in fact better and will come out on top in the end. I'm quite confident of that.

Oh... have you ever had the...

SNOT

Knocked out of you?

It’s not a figure of speech like having the S kicked out of you.

If you have...

Take a step back.

Rethink.

& realize

This is Neal’s gift with an elite shot.

Do you want to win the Cup or the first round?

Would like to see more of Bennett on the 1st line next game.
He makes space and keeps the D on watch, and that will open up space for Johnny & Mony to hopefully get more quality chances.
They need to find a way into better scoring positions.

Just have to amp up their emotional level from here on out. A nice reminder that it's not gonna be a walk in the park. We are still deeper, better coach and well rounded than almost any team in the west. Take this ot loss as a time to gearshift.

Kind of wouldn't mind seeing him replaced by Czar.

But also want to see Neal redemption.
