Tkachuk's drawn every penalty against the Wings so far.

"boy Mangiapane was feeling the effects of that hit"

Yeah, Kelly, that's because he was given the old sloughfoot and tumbled backwards into the boards.

Horrible non-call from the refs. That was dangerous.

Dangerous and led to a scoring chance against Calgary. Gotta call that.

The other two were awesome though.

Second unit looked not bad this time, especially Lucic.

Kind of lost some momentum that period, need a typical Flames third to finish it off

Is it just me or has Kelly Hrudey had some uncharacteristically bad takes this year?

Frankly, neither Lucic (Ryan/Backlund/Mangiapane) or Brodie (Hanifin/a fourth forward) should be out there on the PP given the alternatives on the bench.

I think he’s been fine. Could have a lot worse (looks up the road)

Ryan, Backlund, and now Mangiapane kill penalties, so it’s somewhat a matter of managing ice time.

Can't stand listening to Hrudey. Some of the stupid Ron MacLean has rubbed off on him.

Every time he work I shut the sound off and listen to music. Miss Ball but Hrudey constantly talking about the opponents ruins the game for me.

First of all, my comment was not about Hrudey. He was being political about the situation trying not to throw the ref under the bus.

Secondly, if this place gets so negative that we're going to start badmouthing guys like Kelly Hrudey??? Peace, gentlemen, I'm out.

Let's turn it around, shall we?

Kelly Hrudey is great. We're spoiled with the broadcast team we get.

Go Flames!

Ball, Hrudey, Leslie. Is there a better trio in the entire league?

Convince me.
