Yep. Usually takes a few episodes to get fully up to speed as well. Episode 11 of last season ended up being my favourite episode of TV for the entire year, I knew it would be way back in March when it aired. Great stuff.
This show is just coming out swinging this season. I just couldn't help but feel for that entire scene with Lip when he is trying everything to save Mandy. The inner termoil must've killed him when 3 words would've saved her
Noel Fisher needs to score a huge gig after this. Damn good acting as Mickey. You always know Shameless is building toward a really good one. Took fewer episodes than last year, actually.
Almost makes you forget how good of an actress Emmy is, too. This show is too good.

Sunday's episode of Shameless maybe the best hour of television I have ever seen. Brilliant. Funny. Just excellent.
If you haven't looked at this series, you really must... though I expect it would run afoul of the predominantly PC crowd around here.

Carl to the judge was amazing.

Being proud of Chucky's IQ score because it's the highest score he's ever had on a test. Telling Chucky how to make the guards "feel good". Then, as a last resort, giving him the prison tattoo.

Well, after that stunt, I don't think Sammi will be surviving this season. She doesn't know what Mickey is capable of. She's only seen his good side so far.
Phil Kessel was a jerk to Dylan McDermott Mulroney in the bar.

I just want to give praise to this show. This season has been on fire so far. It's the most emotionally taxing with what's happening with Ian and the guy who plays Mickey. I'm just surprised that Mickey didn't go after Sammi after what she did. Or else maybe it'll be the start of something bad happening to Chucky in Juvi.....
but the making the guards "feel good" was the highlight of the season. Just ahead of Carl telling off the judge
