Shaw down
Someone at Shaw is going to be having a bad afternoon...

National problems. Our internet (and new Shaw phones!) are down. On Telus backup internet right now...

Off topic, but they have totally ruined Wind (Freedom Mobile) too. We were advocates for Wind, enjoyed the service for a good 6 or more years. It's been a slow and steady decline since Shaw bought Wind and we pulled the plug on them last week. Sure we're paying more again, albeit it's not as bad as I feared, but we're getting a reliable network too.

Well I'm going to assume they have it fixed by Sunday... I'm sure someone is working on re-routing the encryptions right now.

Sucks for businesses that rely on Shaw. My POS terminals are all not working.

Corporate Shaw Envision (whatever they are calling it now) are still working, looks like it's the residential and small business segment.

Me too. Switched about a year and a half ago. I've had 3 or 4 of these outages. One lasted for 5 business days. They gave me two free months due to that fiasco. I don't ever recall Telus going down. Made the switch due to speed and price but have regrets.

I'm not sure if that is a real Telus problem, or just people reporting it but actually on Shaw. They aren't reporting any issues themselves, anyway.

Not just Shaw, but Telus, Rogers and Bell as well. Not all nec here but somewhere in Canada.
