All burgers are equal. Some burgers are more equal than others.

Found this post randomly. Only a year late but here you go.

- 1lbs ground lean chicken
- 0.75 lbs lean ground pork
- 3/4 cups Panko bread crumbs
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- A glug or two of Franks Red Hot (or appropriate substitute)
- 1 five-finger pinch or finely chopped fresh cilantro and basil
- 2 gloves minced garlic
- 2 bottles of beer
- 8 hamburger buns, brushed with butter or oil

Toppings
- 1 package of goat cheese (can be plain, though for this recipe I prefer a cranberry mix)
- 1 handful of bacon. Fried, crumbled bacon is always preferred but packaged real bacon bits suffice and are more practical
- Equal parts hot mustard and BBQ sauce
- 1 red onion (sliced to rings)
- 1 hunk of butter
- 1 glug of balsamic vinegar

Instructions:
- Preheat BBQ
- Combine chicken and pork in a large mixing bowl until well mixed.
- Mix in next 7 ingredients (bread crumbs, egg, Worc sauce, oil, hot sauce, herbs, garlic)
- Using hands, form into 8 evenly sized balls and press into patties
- Wash your gross hands and in another bowl, mix goat cheese and bacon. Set aside.
- Mix mustard and BBQ sauce in a small bowl. Set aside
- Open bottles of beer and drink leisurely
- In a large frying pan, add hunk of butter to hot pan, then add onions, turning pan down to medium-high. Cook until onions start to caramalize and then add glug of balsamic vinegar. Heat on medium-low until everything gets gooey. IMPORTANT: This can be done ahead of time and then heated up just before burgers are ready, otherwise, start this procedure at the very beginning.
- Transfer burgers to hot grill, turn down to medium high and cook roughly 6-8 minutes per side (depending on thickness, BBQ temp, etc).
- Once burgers have been flipped, add buttered buns to grill until warm and slightly charred.
- Transfer burger to bun, add toppings (goat cheese mix, onions, mustard/bbq sauce) and enjoy.

I know it is a year old bump but love that "Rooster" is looking for a farm animal burger recipe.
