Recently watched The World's End, and the soundtrack is amazing. A lot of my favourite bands. Though I pretty much like everything from the UK in the late 80s early 90s.

went to a Black Stone Cherry concert tonight and saw them live for the third time. Absolutely love them ... some bands are just meant to play live and sound way better on stage than on their records. Black Stone Cherry are one of those for sure.

Recently going on a crazy chill house music kick... Here are some of my favorites lately, some older, some new, if you like listening to laid back, unique music, edm or not, then I highly recommend giving these a shot:

This song was #1 all over Europe when I was there this summer, I have no idea how it hasn't caught on here:

Unless you're a fan of long builds skip to the 1:00 mark at least:

Another one by the same guys. Here you can skip to like :20....

One last Kygo song to finish off this post:

I missed this one. 5 years old, heard it for the first time today on Pandora. Thor? Want to weigh in on Emilianna?

This is NSFW, but a flippin masterpiece. Easily one of the best songs of the decade, IMO.

I really hope this doesn't become one of those overplayed radio songs, but I really dig the flow of this song.

then be happy that you're not from Germany/Austria. It's been played to death over here.

Jon Duke, i'm loving the remixes of the song, with this one as my favorite.

I have been struggling with finding good new rock/hard rock/metal bands, but I like this one ... especially the story behind they lyrics:

My family is from the Dominican Republic, and one night while speaking Spanish, my uncle Rey said something that sounded like ‘Coconut Dracula.’ I’m not sure what he actually said but I liked the way Coconut Dracula sounded, so I came up with this story about Count Dracula finding a coconut on the ground and taking a bite of it. He realizes that there is sweetness and beauty in the world and that he doesn’t have to be evil and kill people and suck their blood anymore. So he gets his name legally changed from Count Dracula to Coconut Dracula.

He is roommates with a Witch, a Werewolf, Frankenstein, and a Mummy. His monster friends are curious as to why Dracula is full of joy, wearing Batman pajamas, planting a garden and helping with charities. The song is from the Mummies point of view as he represents someone that is dead and covered in dirty rags. He is asking Dracula to teach him how to have the same kind of joy in his life that he has discovered.

Dallas Green and Pink's collaboration, You + Me, is beautiful, the album is "roseave".
