Let's hold off on any pity for the opposing team until the Flames show they can score more than 2 goals on a given night.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

I choose pity for Ottawa, and am looking forward to the offensive explosion that occurs tomorrow.

A happier, easy going group. Music at practice, weight of last few days lifted off their shoulders. This team will likely go on a pretty good run in December. We will be looking at a playoff position as a Christmas gift!!

@Fan960Wills
Geoff Ward just told us Rasmus Andersson picked the songs played at #Flames practice. Very well done, @RAndersson19!
Brendan Parker @BParkerTV
Coach Ward: Music during practice was a way of loosening the mood around the rink today, and focusing on practice. Also said Rasmus Andersson chose the playlist.
Ryan Leslie @SNryanleslie
Ward: tiny dancer doesnt ramp me up for practice. No offence to Elton John.
Rasmus chose the songs so if you want to question him about it.
Eric Francis @EricFrancis
Geoff Ward said the music in practice was designed the loosen the group, but deferred to DJ Rasmus Andersson for the song selection. Said it will likely continue, with DJ duties rotating following Andersson’s decision to open with “Tiny Dancer.”

Feels like the dark cloud hanging over the team with the losing streak followed by the Peters fiasco is starting to lift. I am really excited to go to the game tomorrow.
This lines up nice for the Flames with 4 days off between games, and a 3 game he stand against some lower rated teams in the standings.

It’d be nice but I’m not expecting this to happen. I don’t think there’s any evidence that Peters was doing anything negative to this group. There’s something else at play here. The key is Gaudreau, something isn’t right and until they figure him out, this team will continue to struggle.
Unless of course Peters was playing mind games with Gaudreau and that’s what has caused his play to slip. I don’t think it’s this. I wonder about the curious signing of Matthew Gaudreau to an AHL deal in the Summer and if there are some concerns that Johnny wants out or be closer to home.
