Would be curious to know who pays for cost overruns, since the estimate is a bit less than the $600M figure that was getting tossed around earlier this week. Also hope that EY did a better job on this negotiation and analysis than they did on preparing the Olympic bids.

Note the info graphic has the demolition of the saddledome. $12.4 million of which the Flames are contributing $1.4 million.

Trying to keep up so apologies if this has been answered - but any info on the future of the Saddledome? Or, assuming it is bull-dozed, what would go there instead?

They must know what it's going to look like, if they know how much it's going to cost... How come I can't find anything?

So with this breakdown is the city paying 275 plus added costs and the flames paying 275 and the city gets 155 from ticket fees?
Or
Is the flames portion partially funded though that 155 million and 75 million for youth sport

The City Manager must be one tough lady to be sitting between Nenshi and King.
I wouldnt want to cross her. She looks like someone who takes no guff.

Cant recall who was saying the inverted bowl was the leading design, but its an interesting one that saves a good amount of space yet seats that 19k seating goal.
There is a video on youtube showing off the design. Looks good to me.
