While more from Mangiapane would be nice. To beat a good team in the playoffs you absolutely need your "top" talent to make a difference in at least a few of the games.

Agreed that we need more from the first line at 5v5.

But I do think that having a deadly PP and then just playing "Even" at 5v5 is an okay strategy for a line that's honestly just not very confident right now.

If they continue to give up very little from a high danger/scoring chance perspective (the Game 2 winner is the only 5v5 goal against for 13&23), and play a big role on special teams then the team can live with it IMO.

They very much appear to be a line trying to learn how to generate offense in the playoffs while not being a complete liability defensively, and in the meantime as long as they are green in the ledger on generating goals in all situations then Ill live with that.

Hoping for a big win today! The only player I really haven't noticed is Hanafin. I'd like to see a lot more from him. Everyone else just needs to keep their legs moving and pressure the Stars in the D zone. I thought that the Flames improved their breakout during the last game with some good, short, tape to tape passes.
