A week ago the "losing the room" comments made my eyes roll wondering how many coaches this group was going to tune out before they looked inward (mirror).
However, that was assuming a lack of out and out abuse.
If that was happening then yeah it's a different story.
In the immortal words of Lil Dicky, “real recognize real.”
I get the sense this group wants to be coached by someone that meets two requirements:
1) They know wtf they’re doing
2) They aren’t a**holes
Hartley, Gulutzan, Peters were each guilty of at least one of those two things, and I can understand quitting on each of them. We have some ridiculously talented players here, and when you’re that good at something it’s easy to recognize when your boss doesn’t know what they’re doing. Coupled with the a**hole part, I would have checked out on those three coaches too.

Nobody said Hamonic was either yet he is back in the lineup.
One guys has been out for two months and the other is day to day. We don't need to criticize lineup decisions when in all likelihood Czar isn't ready yet

They probably aren't going to get anything for either of them though. More than likely the Flames hang around enough in the standings to end up keeping them both and then losing them to free agency.
Then, that defense you have built there is pretty frightening actually. Way too inexperienced IMO, and if there are any injuries? It'd be a tire fire.
The Flames are going to be in an (enviable?) tough spot in the offseason. If Brodie and Hamonic both leave, then they will have to fill two spots on the right hand side of the defense. It's difficult to just move someone from the left to the right without a learning curve and a possible drop in effectiveness.
They also have four effective left side D, who will need ice time. I think that by the end of the season Kylington would have worked himself into the conversation.
So, teach him to play the right off-side, or a really nice trade chip?
If you re-sign Brodie that could have 2 off-side D, which isn't ideal.
Tre-World problems.

Hey, 3 next games are at home against the sens, sabres, kings. Flames could be right back in the mix of things if they start finding their game.
Also, if Brodie is willing to sign in and around his current cap hit, I'd be more than happy to have signed him here. Trade hamonic though, can't keep both and no point losing either for nothing.

Ha. Yeah this post from about a week ago didn’t age well.

The only reason you keep both is if you are a contender. If you are a wild card team, you trade one of them for young assets. You can’t keep hothbif you are merely a wild card team.
