I get the "who cares about the Pro Bowl" sentiment, but that doesn't mean you have to invite fringe players with 2 TDs and 3 INTs on the season. Like, WTF?!? This is an embarrassment.

@Rapsheet:
The #Saints and #Broncos just finalized the deal on compensation and sources say New Orleans gets a first-rounder and an early pick — likely a 2nd rounder — but also give a pick back. Complex deal but now done. Sean Payton will be the #Broncos coach.

Sean Payton officially becoming the Broncos head coach. Details still coming out, but Ian Rapoport saying it's a 1st round pick and possibly 2nd round pick - but could see a pick going the other way as well.

They got the 49ers first, via Miami (Lance trade, Chubb trade).

Anytime you can get a 1st & 2nd round pick for a coach that no longer wanted to coach your team, it's a good day. Broncos will pay for the lack of draft picks over the last few years but Peyton is a good head coach and likely one of the few coaches that may be able to get Wilson back on track.

We’ll may not have been their “2nd choice “ all things equal (which they weren’t) - they may had preferred a coach and keeping the picks .

Well little doubt he was plan B if they were trying hard to hire another guy first.

Broncos are a mess.
Looks like the super duo of Fangio and Payton didn't work out as Fangio can't go back to the Broncos as a DC after they fired him.

Speaking of Fangio, he's got his own drama going on. Seemed like he was going to the Dolphins yesterday, but now might be going to the Niners.

Sounds like he's still going to the Dolphins but the 49ers came in today with a major last minute push to try and bring him in.

I don’t hate the move. Broncos have had a revolving door of head coaches and they have all been so middling. Vance, Vic, Nathaniel…will be nice to get a proven NFL Head coach
