If your bike requires you to do so, please get a tune-up and/or learn how to ride properly.

Thank you.
Not something I do, but seems to be pretty common for Harley and other cruiser bike riders. I agree its pretty annoying though.

I see this very rarely, to say its the majority is kind of ridiculous.

I'd have pegged it at 90% who do it. Not revving out to red line or anything...just annoying blips because - I think - they like the vibrations.

Yeah, Reg isn't too off the mark. I'm a proponent of loud, for adjacent motorists to know you're there, but not for obnoxious idiots to be cracking throttle near patios, or low speed roads, or to just garner reactions. And candidly, my bike isn't loud enough..

I do recall tho, at Too Cool Motorcycle School, Trevor instructing a double blip, when clutch in, and decelerating to a light.

Yeah, for downshifting you do need to rev the throttle a couple times, but that's not what these people are complaining about.

So "loud pipes save lives", but I guess a blacked out tail light in the pouring rain and hanging out in the left lane, forcing everyone to go around you is also life saving. Good thing I could hear your pipes though! Might have gotten sketchy there!
