So I thought I'd sign up for the free month of Crave TV. There's a few decent shows on there but it seems kind of buggy. Does anyone else have issues with playback? Since they don't have a Roku app I need to connect a laptop to the TV via HDMI. I can get about 10-12 minutes into a show before it freezes up. So I thought that perhaps the laptop was going to sleep so changed the settings to tell it not to go to sleep and I got about 14 minutes in before it froze up. Anyone else having this issue?
I haven't tried to stream through my desktop or directly on the laptop (not going through the TV) because I'd prefer to watch on the TV.
Who is your cable provider.
I just watch it through the "On demand" portion on Telus.
That's what I have to do at home too. It's pretty clunky though, makes me miss my Sansung smart TV because the app was good on there. I also spend a lot of time in hotels though so it'd be nice to be able to use the PS4
I find the app on my Samsung TV to be a bit buggy, frequently freezes when I'm starting a show or loses my place when I pause a show, though usable. Crave is a big step below Netflix both in terms of content and the apps, and not having a Roku app is just stupid on their part IMO.
