The Spigen hybrid case I ordered on Amazon a few days ago is slated to be delivered November 8-20th. Today I noticed they're in stock in Canada and will arrive at my door by Thursday - and a few bucks cheaper. Just FYI if anybody's waiting for their case from the States
MKBHD finally dropped his review yesterday. I like this one because I like him and he gives a more objective review than a lot of the other circle-jerk style ones I've seen.
My phone is officially in Calgary so looking really good for delivery for tomorrow. Gonna be a fun weekend setting this bad boy up.

Agreed. Plus he took his time to review it, instead of rushing to post it the minute the review embargo was lifted.

MKBHD always has some of the best tech takes I find. It helps that he built his following in the early days of Youtube, so he doesn't have to resort to the clickbaity tactics of many other channels
Adaptive charge on my pixel 5 seems to actually work now on Android 12.
Is that plugged in or on the Stand (wireless charging)? When using Android 11, AC only worked if I restarted my phone before putting it on the Stand. Plugging it in worked more often than not from what I recall.
Now with Android 12, AC works 100% of the time when plugged in but still flakey, if not non existent, when putting it on the Stand.
My Pixel 6 arrived early this morning and I have to say that I am liking the phone so far. There are a few things I am going to miss coming from my OnePlus 6 (face unlock and a rear fingerprint scanner) but I assume I'll get use to not having them once I use the phone more.
It took me a while to figure out how to enable the advanced voice to text feature they showed off so maybe I can save some people a bit of time. Go into your apps and find Gboard and make sure you give it permission to access your microphone. Once you've done that you can hit the little mic button in your chat app and the advanced features will work properly.

On the stand. I don't plug mine in.
Previously mine would say it was adaptive charging, but it would always be at 100% long before my alarm. Last night it wasn't yet fully charged at 4:30 with my alarm set for 5:30.
