Thumbs up FYI If you have Bell cellphone and/or satellite TV service...

...you might want to know that Bell has changed their mobile TV app to work with some channels over WiFi only.

I do not have a Bell smartphone, but I downloaded the mobile TV app on my Nexus 7 tablet, signed in with MyBell, and gained access to some live channels and on-demand content because I have Bell satellite TV.

TSN/RDS and CBC are included for WiFi-only users. Sadly, the NHL network and Sportsnet are mobile only.

If you have both a Bell Mobility account (with Mobile TV addon) and Bell TV, this new setup gives you access to over 100 live channels apparently.

So far, I have noticed a glitch where it will indicate a channel is accessible over Wifi, but it isn't. :-( Not bad overall, though.
