The laptop dock looks awesome. Cost will obviously be a huge deal but that's pretty cool.
this is the first step into what i ultimately think will be the end of traditional desktop PC's. the Atrix is more powerful than most desktop PC's were less than 10 years ago, and smartphones will only be getting faster. pretty soon with a docking setup there will be no need to have a separate laptop or PC, you just plug it into the dock and start working like normal
If I'm not mistaken you need to be in the industry. How ever it is called the "Consumer Electronic Show", so maybe.
our company sent down two people (dirty buggers), but I don't know the details of how they registered etc. I assumed it was open to public registration? We do a lot of business with various companies that would be showcasing there, so they may have received a special invite. I will ask them tomorrow.

The International CES is not open to the general public, and all attendees must be in the consumer electronics industry to be eligible to attend the show.

The Razer design team has reinvented PC gaming on the go. The Razer Switchblade concept was designed to bring the full keyboard/mouse experience on the desktop on a handheld device. The dynamic keyboard and the ultra-sensitive multi touch screen are the key elements that give this portable gaming device the ability to play on the go without sacrificing precision and control. We've changed the game, and this is only the beginning.

I saw this and thought "Gaming netbook? I'll believe it when I see it." and I still sorta think that after watching the video. Dudes seem pretty fired up about it but I'm extremely skeptical about gaming on an Atom.
My guess is it's a big hit with WoW slaves but that's about it.
So awesome that the video actually shows it playing Quake II. This thing will be seriously underpowered, even with Sandy Bridge presumably behind it. You could play WoW on low details or maybe Portal and L4D on lower graphics as well.
The only thing that really impressed me was the keyboard, if they turn that idea into a desktop keyboard it would be awesome. I know you can buy gaming keyboard's already with extra buttons, but to have the layout change and display buttons unique to each game would be cool.
On a side note, I want a job where my title is Chief Gamer and CEO.
