Before anyone says I shouldn't have had a pet if I can't afford to take care of him, I got the guy years ago when circumstances were much different.

I have had some bizarre dreams lately. Ever wake up with a dream fresh in your mind and wonder "What the hell was that all about"?

I have no idea what to get my mom for her birthday. It’s a milestone (69th) so I want it to be something special.

Something sentimental or an experience usually works for me in these cases. My mom always wants more family portraits or framed pics of the grandkids. We've taken the folks on a jazz cruise of Glenmore Reservoir of all things, big hit. Brunch at one the nice hotels in Banff? For my mom's 70th last year we had one of those yard decorations put up over night to announce to the neighborhood that it was her birthday. She loved it, still talks about it.

It’s a shame that I see that and immediately think it’s a freedumb convoy protest. I hate what those morons have done to my country.

Uh, so I googled something and checked out one of the links to a Reddit post. It signed me in somehow into Reddit under the account that made the post.

That can’t be normal.

Just curious as to why 69th birthday is a milestone? Echo the experience idea. Doing something with her will be way more memorable than stuff.

Sex positions or anatomy. Which one do you need to brush up on?

Could be multiple people involved. Nobody’s going to live to 669.

Don’t let them do that to you. Not every representation of our flag is tied to those morons. I get where you’re coming from though.

Driving down Macleod yesterday, and there was an advertising board with those interchangeable letters (what are they called? letterboards?) for an antique store advertising grandfather clocks. Someone had taken the L out. My son burst out laughing, I played the dad ("yes yes, very juvenile") but secretly wished the wording on the ad was "come see our grandfather clocks" for better comedic effect.

Do community centres display reminders of time changes like "Don't forget, clocks go back tonight" or "Don't forget, put your clock forward tonight"?
