The stinking, cheating, lying, rotten POS astros advance. Terrible organization full of dishonourable chumps.

I hope the hammer falls on their cheating ways.

Dodgers-Astros again would be good.

Have to admit, it'd be pretty funny if the Astros won the whole thing again.

No it wouldn't.

And they don't even have the Dodger game on, but there are about 6 channels with the Yankee game on.

To me it shows the talent of MLB batters. I have a friend who was drafted by Pittsburgh or the Cubs 20 or so years ago as a pitcher and I remember him telling me how pro talent would take the ball out if they called the pitch and it was in the strike zone. It's pretty impressive when you see it told to the batter, and he nails it. It's a play you probably will never see again.

Anyone know why the Dodgers/Padres game isn’t on Sportsnet? I can’t seem to find it on Telus Optik.

Friday is a great night to watch a ball game. Going to have to cheer for the stinkin’ Rays in this one. They’re going to be in tough against Cole though.

Yanks played the starting pitching perfectly. Let Cole play minimum 5 innings and when he almost gave up a homer, then went to relief pitching. I realize Tampa has really good relief pitching but I really hate this new age way of game planning, where much like the Jays did, they come in with a plan to give the starter 3, or a pitch count, then go to relief pitching. Why not plan loosely with that? If your guy is dealing and not showing many signs of fatigue or something, let him play an inning or two longer. It's a tie game right now, but soemtimes you need to save your relievers if it goes to later innings when your starting pitching is doing alright. No need to change unnecessarily. Just a mini rant.

Glasnow was on 2 days rest so it was predetermined he would face 9 batters.

Chapman getting rocked on a homer for the second straight year. Looks like this could be it (I hope).

lol Chapman just got taken yard by Brassault in the bottom of 8.

I'm no Rays fan but that looks good on Chapman the POS

10 pitch at bat. Incredible.

Yep. Has been hard cheering for the Rays. But if the wife beating POS Chapman gives up the winning HR after the 400million dollar toy started the game, I’d be elated. 3 outs to go!

Mike Brosseau is the best possible example for how good the Rays scouting and player development is. Small college track record, went undrafted, hit his way up the ranks as an unheralded prospect, developed some pop....

Happy to see the Yanks lose, and the small market team move ahead.

On the other hand though, I'd have loved to see how heated a series against the Astros would get.

Likewise - could've done a dig at Houston but he didn't. Still hope they get beaned but he seemed like a good person.
