Yeah. Main changes will be everything not crammed into a small lot, so things will be a bit more spaced out More retail. Bigger retail. Plazas added.
Club mez moving below grade is the biggest change I can suss out from the elevations.

For instance, for the design of our wonderful and expensive new Stadium, we should find an excellent and amazing architect. And then find out if that architect has a significantly less-talented brother and hire that guy instead.

I've said it before, there is no shame in relocating your Franchise to a de-commissioned aircraft carrier in the Pacific.
It opens up a lot of opportunities and the commute from the airport to the game can't be beat!

There were interior elevations in the original development permit application, but they were hard to visualize what it would look like.
I never saw any interior renderings like this one that was released for Little Caesars...

Nothing shows the absolute oblivion to the realities of this project, for the city of Calgary, than comparing it to MSG in New York. Of course the way the projects got funded were different, the economic benefits from the projects are also wildly different.
This shows less the difference between Balmer and Edward’s and more the difference between the two projects. Balmer wouldn’t privately fund our rink either because it would be a ####ty investment. The funding model here in Calgary isn’t really about Edward’s it’s about the quality of the investment opportunity.

There were some drawings of some sort. They were actually quite detailed. I've never seen anything like you posted in Detroit.

If those rumours about modeling after Little Caesars are true then it’s outstanding news.
I’ve only been to 6 arenas …but Little Caesars definitely impressed me the most.

The bigger site is a big deal. Rogers is good but in too small a site which affects the concourse levels, Hate to say it but I expect once this is done it will be far superior to what we got up here, and I get to help pay for it.

And looking at the rest of the NBA, most teams play in local or state government owned arenas, even big market teams like Atlanta, Houston, Dallas and Brooklyn. Pro sports teams getting public subsidies and help is unfortunately the norm.

There has to be an updated design and architectural plan somewhere for the public to see…?

I would like to encourage every one of you to associate McDavid becoming a UFA with the opening of our new arena.
Remind every oilers fan that 11 years of being a loser in Canadas Siberia is easy to leave for a team with all the money in the world and a brand new arena.

Once its out into International Waters you can re-commission the .50 Cals.
Besides, two Hockey teams and spectators? Pirates would have to be nuts to try and take that on.
Unless they're unusually cunning Pirates and use the legitimate purchase of NHL tickets as their key boarding strategy....

That’s a terrible design for the new Dome. Calgary winters are horrible and to have the new arena not be enclosed would cause dozens of games to be rescheduled
